Dragonfly House

This home was intended for a hilltop site in central Texas, and provides panoramic views of the countryside. One enters through a textured glass screen inspired by the iridescent wings of the dragonfly. The pool is a central element set down slightly from the plane of the ground floor so as not to obscure the views below. The bedrooms are located upstairs for privacy and views. Exterior is clad in a glass-fiber reinforced cement panel and zinc panels. etc.
