An astute listener, and master of inspiration, Winn Wittman, AIA, is a highly regarded member of the architectural community. His portfolio includes award-winning projects (link) from Austin to New York, and homes featured on the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) Homes Tour. His most recent project, Soaring Wings, has received international acclaim for creating a new standard in contemporary living.
Winn received his BA in Fine Arts from Tufts University and his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, where he studied under A.I.A. Gold Medal winner Charles Moore. He is a recipient of the Hal Box Fellowship, as well as an AIAS Fellowship and National Commendation. In 1991, he formed the Avatar Group, Inc., which eventually became Winn Wittman Architecture. He is a Registered Architect and a Registered Builder in the State of Texas.
A member of the American Institute of Architects, Texas Society of Architects, and certified with the National Council of Architecture Registration Boards, Winn has been recognized with awards from the Industrial Designer's Society of America and holds a number of U.S. design patents. He has also executed a number of large-scale sculptural commissions and furniture designs.
